It is modeling a thesis in all its physical-world, walk-through glory: that the private sector, through iteration rather than hype, pomp and circumstance \u2013 through doing rather than just saying \u2013 can begin to close the widening gap between housing need and housing reality in America.<\/p>\n<p>At the crux of that thesis is Clayton\u2019s Single-section CrossMod home \u2013 an evolution of its CrossMod category that blends off-site construction efficiencies with site-built design cues, permanent foundations, and mortgage eligibility.
